NEW WINDOWS PRINTER SUBSYSTEM - We have added a new windows printer
subsystem that will spool all of the wolfbay printed documents. The
spooler will then send the documents to the default windows driver
on the local PC. The default driver could also be a network printer.
You can force Wolfbay to always use a specified printer in place of
the default printer, just call and we will walk you through the
process, very simple.

Wolfbay can then print to any local or network printer. The printer
selected by Wolfbay will be the default printer specified in Windows
at the time the spooler is activated (turned on).

To use this new windows printer subsystem, first download and
install the following reservation system update. Once the update is
installed and unpacked, do the following;

1) Goto the Start Page, select Utilities, select feature #12 to
install the new desktop icons. (You can drag the old icons to the
recycle bin).

2) Goto the Start Page, select Utilities, select additional features
number 10 and then turn on new feature 14 by making it a 1.

3) To use the spooler, turn on the Green wolfbay icon. Allow about
10 seconds for the spooler to load, then use wolfbay as usual.

When using Wolfbay, if the spooler is not turned on, printed
documents will be stored for later printing. Simply click the
spooler desktop icon and all of these documents will be printed at
one time in a batch mode.

When exiting wolfbay, the subsystem will remain on the task bar. To
close out the subsystem, click it on the task bar and then click
exit. You can reactivate the subsystem simply by clicking the Green
Wolfbay Spooler desktop icon. You can leave the spooler on if you
wish. It will not interfere with anything else on your computer.

More Spooler Help;

Setup a link on each desktop as follows;

C:\RES\PRFILE32.EXE /n:wolfbay /q /s:c:\spooler\*.ps

(The C:\RES will change on a client to F:\RES where F:\RES represents
the network mapping determined by the Network manager)

The Icon for this is labeled c:\res\wolfg.ico

Copy the following file to the Windows directory, it contains the
necessary windows .ini file.

prfile.ini Print Spooler ini file

(Right mouse click - save link target as - select windows directory)

Create a new folder on each client named spooler. Folder should be
on the C:> drive.

You may also be able to save the following link on your desktop.
Depending on which version of and release of Windows you are using.

Wolfbay Spooler Link

To use the above link - "Right Mouse Click" - "Save Link Target as"
and place it on the desktop. Remember to use it you also need the
ini file in the windows directory as described above. Also note that
on clients you will need to adjust the target to reflect your
network mapping (F:\RES) or something similar

* Network Users - Please note that the network manager selects his own
file paths for wolfbay. When the icons are on your desktop you will
have to modify the path or target to fit your system.

For instance, our normal path would be c:\res\runa.bat a networked
system might have a path like f:\res\runa.bat where f represents the
mapped network drive. Also, we are spooling to a directory (or file
folder) named c:\spooler. We would expect that directory to be on
each client computer. Option 12 in utilities should copy the icons
to the local client desk top. Users would then right click the icon
select properties and then load their path to wolfbay, such as
E:\runa.bat or f:\res\runa.bat or z:\runa.bat Please also adjust the
working directory. Note that the actual icons will need to be
located. Try using the Browse function for the F:\RES directory as
an example.
