Wolfbay Tip #4 - Guest Notes and Windows Help

This year we have added a feature to guest notes that forces all changes to the guest card to become a guest note. For instance, if item 10, rentals, was 400.00 and a clerk changed the amount to 300.00, a guest note would be created that said "12/20/2004 11:22 10 400.00" That would mean that line 10 on the guest card was changed on 12/20/2004 at 11:22 am from the previous amount of 400.00 to what it now is. This note is non-editable.

We have also noted that some customers are unaware of some basic windows options that govern how our programs work.

1) If you look at your keyboard, you will see a "window" key to the right and left of the space bar. If you hit that key while in Wolfbay, you will be directed back to the Windows Desk Top. While on the desktop, you will see Wolfbay to the right of the start button - often stated as "on the task bar". If you see Wolfbay "on the task bar" you must always click Wolfbay there. Do not click the Wolfbay Icon on the desktop as you will then open 2 instances of Wolfbay on the same computer, which can become a fatal error.

2) As an advanced technique, you can place many of the wolfbay application data screens in a window. You do this by hitting the "alt-Enter" shift combination (both held down at the same time). When in a window you can highlight certain information and then right click to copy that information. The copied information can then be pasted into something like notepad or emails. Alt-Enter again and you are returned to a full screen. Such as the following;
